What will I be doing?

You will establish your own micro-call center. You will take customer service calls for well-known fortune 500 companies. These calls include billing questions, technical assistance, account maintenance, sales, and data entry.

You will need:

• A Quiet Work Area
• A Computer (laptop is acceptable, must be hard-wired, no Wi-Fi permitted)
• High-Speed Internet
• USB Headset
• Most clients no longer require a phone line. If the opportunity states, “Hardwired USB headset with phone quality audio required” you’ll be able to take calls through your computer.

What are the costs associated with this opportunity?

We have all been told not to pay for a job. And you will NOT be paying for a J. O. B. This is a Business OPPORTUNITY. You will be working for YOU and setting a schedule that works for YOUR family.

Upon registration, there is a background check that will need to be completed by a third-party vendor. This is completed online for $30.

***You will be handling sensitive data and customer information. This background check is necessary for clients to know that you are trustworthy and that their customer’s information will be secure.

Arise provides comprehensive training. These classes last anywhere from 5 days to 30 days. You will learn everything that you need to know about servicing the client of your choice. The certification classes are FREE unless you miss the first day of certification class. Attendance for certification is mandatory. We will help you make the best decision based on your situation, but the choice is totally yours.

CYR REMOTE/ARISE charges a fee of $60 per client for each invoice. ONLY if you are receiving revenue. CYR REMOTE/ARISE fees are automatically deducted from your invoice. CYR REMOTE/ARISE fees include the Arise 24-Hour Client Technical Support Desk and StarMatic® scheduling system, the use of clients’ systems, our one-on-one support,  security systems i.e. DUO mobile and VPN, and our processing fees.

How does training work?

All classes are taken online. You will need a computer, hard-wired high-speed internet (not wifi), and a USB headset for training. Classes are Monday-Friday, and they are generally 2-4 hours each day depending on the client that you choose. You will be able to choose, based upon the client, if you’d like mornings, afternoon, or evenings.

Training is usually broken up into three phases.

Phase I. Instructor Led eLearning& Self-Paced Work: This is the unpaid phase of your training. Phase I is a combination of 2-4 hours per day of instructor-led sessions and Self-paced daily assessments. 100% attendance is required

Phase II. Foot in the Water! At this phase you start earning some revenue. Phase II is a combination of 1-2 hours paid live call taking and 2 hours unpaid instructor-led sessions. 100% attendance is required

Phase III. Earn While You Learn! This phase you no longer must attend certification class, apply what you’ve learned in Phase I and II to live call taking, and generate revenue. Phase III is your probation phase you are responsible for scheduling your own hours and meeting the client requirements.

What is the Voice Assessment?

The Voice Assessment is a free and fast 10-minute evaluation that is conducted over the telephone. This is part of the admissions process. It measures your voice quality and your ability to effectively interact with customers over the phone.

How long will it take for me to start working and getting paid?

The admissions process can be completed in as little as three (3) days! Classes are between 5 days and 30 days based on the client. After you have successfully completed certification, you can begin working and getting paid.

Like any training, there is going to be a lot of information, and this time goes quickly, trust me! Some classes even have an ‘earn while you learn phase’. This means that you’ll start taking calls (and earning revenue) after about 2 weeks of class starting. All of this will be listed in the opportunity announcement (OA).

How often will I be paid and when?

You will be paid twice monthly, around the 15th and last day of the month. Payments are made by direct deposit to the bank account or payment card of your choice.

Am I responsible for my own taxes?

Because you are an Independent Contractor and not an employee, you are responsible for your own taxes. No taxes will be deducted from your earnings. We will provide you with a 1099-MISC at the end of every year.

What is an SOW?

Statement of Work (SOW) is a contract that Arise/Client issues to CYR Remote that outlines the client requirements, pay and the terms of service for the agent that is subcontracted for CYR Remote. These contracts are renewed every 30 – 90 days. Failure to meet clients’ requirements will result in agent getting terminated and removed from CYR Remote.

Do you take out taxes from revenue earned?

No. You are self-employed and operate your own business. We provide a 1099-Misc form at the end of the year; therefore, you are responsible for paying your income taxes. (IMPORTANT: don’t forget to keep track of all your start-up and ongoing costs of your business! Most expenses, including your home office, are tax deductible

How many hours am I required to work?

You can work as many hours as you’d like. However, your minimum is 15 hours per week as required under the terms of the Statement of Work (SOW) for most Arise client business opportunities. Arise has hours for CSP’s to service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The hours available for a specific client will be outlined in the Opportunity Announcements you receive once you complete the Admissions process. (Subject to change.)
